CHINA FASHION WEEK : BEIJING NOV 2 - NOV 9 2010 : HIGHLIGHTS
The China Spring/ Summer 2010 Fashion Week held from November 2nd till nov 9th in Beijing.
Young fashion designers, including college students, were being given a platform to showcase their work as organizers seek out new talent and attempt to shake off accusations of copying that have dogged the industry. In a show on Monday, models presented boldly-cut dresses designed by students from 25 domestic fashion schools.
Although the trends might look different from what we've seen on European and American runways, the innovation is definitely there, especially in the various facial masks and head accessories. perhaps the next generation of chinese designers is looking upto Lady Ga Ga as their fashion insipiration.
