Emporio Armani :
Emporio Armani Spring/Summer 2011 Collection shown was about Fancy Girl who likes to dress up in shiny jacket and leggy tube skirts. Show opened with jackets, cutaway with a slight sheen made from valuable fabric, rubberized raffia that seems perfect as daywear. Then came a slew of models wearing jackets and shorts covered with thermo-welded leather tiles on organza.
76-year-old Italian designer Giorgio Armani surprised everyone with his cutting-edge fabrications. Color palette included beige, cream, grey, black and mineral shades of quartz, with some flashes of jade as well as some bright colors.
Emporio Armani Spring 2011 collection presented a twist in working wardrobe with looks like cutaway “tailcoats” and peplum jackets teamed with above-the-knee skirts worn over longer see-through skirt.
Puff-sleeved, belted dresses, ruched mid-calf “leggings”, underneath wide-leg shorts, shimmering shades of strawberry-pink,leggings combine with skirts in stretch tulle were among Emporio Armani Spring 2011 Milan Fashion Week’s Collection’s highlights.
Spring 2011 Emporio Armani accessories were also striking. Footwear made of canvas and leather that ranged from small-heel booties to wooden wedges, and double-heel sandals; organic chokers, made from stones, wood and beads on plaited twine, were interesting
