Milan has one. Paris has one. A lot of peopla think its hign time New York had one too, a dedicated mens fashion week, that is.
Milan fashion week : Spring/summer 2011 held from june 19th till june 22nd 2010. It kicked of with presentation of Dolce & Gabbana collection. This four day long week witnessed lots of worlds leading menswear designers & brands including Emporio Armani ,Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, Prada & Vivenne westwood unveiling their mens spring/summer 2011 collection. Dolce & Gabbana celebrated their 20th anniversary of their mens wear line during milan fashion week .
The milan mens fashion week for fall / winter 2011 collection will be held from jan 15th till jan 19th 2011.
PARIS MENS FASHION WEEK : For fall/winter 2011 collection will be held from jan 20th to jan 23rd 2011.
BULGARIA : The second edition of Bulgaria mens fashion week held from 28th jun till july 4th 2010 .The prestigious bulgarian fashion marks Monteli, Julidan, Elegant, Rumuna, & Moni petrov represent their new collections.
INDIA MENS WEEK 2010 : India becomes the fourth fashion capital of the world by presenting the 2nd edition of Van Heusen mens fashion week in new delhi.According to fdci the second edition of the mens week is poised to be a highly stylish & sophisticated event, showcasing the very best of indian mens wear designer talent.To be held from august 27th till aug 29th 2010, at The Grand, New Delhi, the fashion week announces its 17 runaway designers recently. I attended some of the shows in the first mens week & particularly liked designs of Narender Ahmed, Manavraj Khosla & Nitin bal beside the rohit bal show at cibo. while congratulating the fdci & particularly mr Sunil Sethi for his efforts & commitment towards mens fashion , i wish him all the best for many many more incoming fashion weeks .
